Rupert House is a happy and high-achieving independent Prep School for boys and girls aged 3-11 years. We stand proudly at the heart of the beautiful riverside town of Henley-on-Thames. From the moment that children enter through the big blue door, they learn the values of creativity, respect, courage and resilience that will enable them to stand tall in the world.
At the Heart of Henley
Rupert House has sat at the heart of Henley for just over 100 years. Behind the big, blue door of our attractive town house lie well-resourced Science, ICT and DT suites, a fabulous art room and music rooms. The beautifully planned outdoor area includes our Astro pitch and adventure playground, while a short walk away you'll find sports pitches and pavilion, and the much used forest school area. As a Henley resident, we are surrounded by a wealth of fantastic facilities, and have strong ties and collaborations with all of them. From the Rowing Club to the Rugby Club and Cricket Club, to the Kenton Theatre, the sports centre and local churches, our provision extends way beyond our school buildings and grounds.

Happy Easter from everyone at Rupert House!
We hope all the Reception mummies and daddies were delighted with their carefully handmade Easter cards and baskets!
During the last week of term, The Easter Bunny hopped through the big blue door to set the children an egg-citing Easter hunt.
Split into their houses and working in year groups, the children scrambled across the school grounds in search of brightly coloured bunnies.
Once every last bunny had been found and the hunt was officially eggs-hausted, the Easter Bunny rewarded everyone with a well-earned Easter egg - because no bunny should leave empty-handed!
A big thank you to the Friends of Rupert House for bringing the Easter magic to Rupert House.

On Friday we delivered 150 Easter eggs to the NOMAD foodbank, generously donated by Rupert House families and the Friends of Rupert House.
Donating Easter chocolate has become an annual tradition for Rupert House and one that the foodbank is incredibly grateful for.
As ever, our aim is to ensure that every local family in need can enjoy a small but special Easter gift

On Tuesday evening, Rupert House parents and families were treated to a spectacular House Music Extravaganza at Henley Town Hall.
Following a competitive audition process, pupils from Years 3 to 6 delivered an outstanding evening of performances. From singing to instrumental pieces and even some dance routines, the depth of talent at Rupert House was truly impressive!
With this year's theme of Royalty, each house entertained the audience with lively group renditions of Kings & Queens, Six, Dancing Queen and Prince Ali.
The evening's performances were judged by three professional musicians, who ultimately crowned Sahara House as the winners - many congratulations to them!
Well done to all the pupils who performed so confidently on stage. It was a wonderfully uplifting evening of music!
