At Rupert House we have an average number of 14 pupils per class and an average teacher to pupil ratio of 1:6. Our core values of courage, creativity, respect and resilience are the heart of everything we do.
We offer over 60 different extra curricular clubs each term, including Rugby, Football, Tennis, Jazz Dance, Create & Make and Hama Beads, to name just a few.
Our Sports provision enables us to timetable three afternoon sessions of sport (hockey, football, netball, rugby, athletics or cricket) per week, including a fixture afternoon plus an hour of indoor P.E. allowing us to teach gymnastics and dance. Our Games Department arranges over 60 sports fixtures per year for pupils in Year 3 through to Year 6, and organises various other sporting events, including an annual Year 2 football tournament, hockey masterclasses with other local primary schools, and inter-house competitions.
At Rupert House, the success of our approach (small classes, specialist teachers and individualised care) is evidence by our exceptional senior school entrance results. This year, once again, the pupils have achieved 100% success in entrance exams and the 15 pupils gained 16 scholarships between them, including Academic, Drama, Music, Art and Sport. All our Year 6 pupils were offered a place at their chosen Secondary School.
