The strong sense of community is one of the aspects of Rupert House most commented upon by visitors and most appreciated by our current parents.
We are very much a family school and welcome all members of the family through our doors.
Girls and boys develop a secure group of local friends, wherever their senior school education takes them.
The Friends of Rupert House is an active and supportive group of parents committed to supporting the school in all aspects of its work.
Rupert House recognises its responsibility to, and maintains strong links with, the local Henley community. We are actively involved in local environmental schemes including Greener Henley, the Henley Schools Environmental Science Competition and the Cleaner Air for Henley initiative. The school has a strong presence in major Henley events and frequently attends and/or sponsors the May Fair, the Henley Youth Festival, Henley Literary Festival, Remembrance Day and Christmas Late Night Shopping.
Our Chamber Choir visits local retirement homes to sing for the residents. We support a variety of local and national charities which include Footsteps, Macmillan Cancer Support, BBC Children in Need, Sport Relief, the Henley Food Bank and The Parish Church of St Mary's.
