Our Centenary

We are delighted to be celebrating 100 years of excellent education at Rupert House School.

Explore this new section of our website to find out more about our centenary and help us rediscover the past by contributing to our very special ‘100 faces’ page, a new school archive experience. We also have a gift shop where you can get your hands on some limited-edition Rupert House School memorabilia!

We hope you enjoy our centenary celebrations as much as we have loved being a school for the past 100 years.

Here's how you can get involved…

Attend centenary events

We have a programme of events and activities planned over the year and would love as many people from the Rupert House community to join. Please look out for dates and booking instructions on our centenary events page.

Share your memories and stories as part of our '100 Faces of Rupert House' programme

Be part of our 100 faces feature which documents years of history of Rupert House School,  recalled by members of the Rupert House community. We have 100 years of history to tell and would like your stories to be part of our rich tapestry. We would like any past pupil, staff or friend of any of the schools to share their memories and stories either in person or over a video call, simply email alumni@ruperthouse.co.uk with the following information:

  • A photo of yourself (taken recently, and if possible, one from your school days)
  • Your name (now and when you were at school if different)
  • Your association to the school (former pupil, parent or staff member)
  • The years you attended
  • Your favourite/most significant memories of your time at the school
  • If you were a pupil, where you went after Rupert House and perhaps what you went on to do next/how RH helped shape the person you are today

Share your Rupert House memorabilia

If you have any memorabilia from your time at Rupert House, we would love to display it in school. Anything from old items of uniform to photographs, please do let us know if you may have something to contribute. Please email alumni@ruperthouse.co.uk

Purchase our centenary merchandise

As part of our centenary celebrations, we are excited to release new limited edition merchandise for our whole school community to enjoy. Each product makes for a lovely gift to celebrate 100 years of Rupert House.

Any profits from the sale of centenary gifts will help fund the celebrations we have planned for the children this year.

Become a centenary sponsor, as an individual or company

Rupert House School would like to invite our local businesses to be part of our centenary. We have a number of sponsorship and supplier opportunities within the centenary programme and would welcome further discussions on how a company could be involved as well as the potential benefits. To discuss options on how your business could support the centenary please email alumni@ruperthouse.co.uk

I was very happy at Rupert House.  It gave me a very secure and happy time in my childhood.  I had lovely friendships.  As a direct result, I was pleased that both my daughters went to school at Rupert House. Walking through the door as a parent, it smelt the same and had the same lovely atmosphere!
