Rupert House is a happy and high-achieving independent Pre-Prep and Prep School for boys and girls aged 3-11 years. We stand proudly at the heart of the beautiful riverside town of Henley-on-Thames. From the moment that children enter our care they are encouraged to adopt a Growth Mindset learning the values of creativity, respect, courage and resilience that will enable them to stand tall in the world.
At the Heart of Henley
At Rupert House we are fortunate to be surrounded by a wealth of fantastic facilities with which we have built strong ties and collaborations. From the Rowing Club to the Rugby club, the local churches to the Kenton Theatre, the sports centre to the Cricket Club, our provision extends way beyond our school buildings and grounds.

Offerings range from sports such as running and hockey to creative and academic pursuits like Create and Make, Think Tank, vocal club, and animation. Some clubs are run by school staff, while others are delivered by external specialists. In addition, Rupert House hosts holiday clubs during school breaks, providing further opportunities for enrichment and care throughout the year.

What happens when a meteor hits? How do amphibians breathe through their skin? When can a liquid also behave like a solid?
These were just some of the fascinating questions our Prep pupils explored at today's Science Fair, held as part of our STEAM Week and National Science Week celebrations, centred on the theme of 'curiosity'.
The children designed and presented a fantastic range of experiments, sharing their ideas with fellow pupils and parents. From creative investigations to impressive demonstrations, it was wonderful to see such enthusiasm for scientific discovery.
A huge well done to everyone who took part and brought their experiments along - it was a truly engaging and inspiring event!
