Deputy Head Academic and Head of English
In 2021 I moved back to the UK from teaching in Spain and arrived at Rupert House, where I have been ever since. I started off as a Year 4 teacher before becoming Head of English, which I did for four years before becoming Deputy Head Academic in the spring of 2026. I adore Rupert House and everything we stand for here; I’ve never been happier as a teacher!
I qualified as a teacher in 2012, and have loved every year of my teaching career. I spent the first three years of my career teaching in a state school in Bracknell before moving to the sunnier climes of Spain, where I taught in international schools for six years in both Madrid and Marbella. My time in Spain was absolutely wonderful, and not only did I learn Spanish (to a certain extent) and experience new food, a new lifestyle and a different culture, but I also met my husband!

Outside of school I enjoy reading, jigsaw puzzles, going to the gym and long walks with my (very naughty) dog.
