Making Compost Bins in Design & Technology

The Year 3 D&T group are making compost bins this term in our new D&T room. This week they used a metal detector and screwdriver to remove any screws from the wood they are using, then watched as Mr Whitfield sawed the planks to size. They all had a go at sanding the wood to remove any splinters and make it smooth.
