Cross-Country Season Begins
Grey’s Court Cross Country (Saturday 12th September)
Rupert House made an excellent start to the cross-country season at the Grey’s Court Cross Country event. It was fantastic to see so many children from Years 1-6 taking part, embracing the challenge of the course and representing the school with enthusiasm, determination and smiles throughout.
The event highlighted the continued success of our Friday Morning Running Club, which provides a wonderful opportunity for children to develop their fitness, confidence and enjoyment of running. It was particularly pleasing to see so many of our regular runners competing so well.
There were some outstanding individual performances, including:
-
🥇 Charlotte S (Year 1 Girls)
-
🥇 Olive G (Year 5 Girls)
-
🥇 Florence S (Year 6 Girls)
-
🥈 Percy F (Year 5 Boys)
-
🥈 Alice F (Year 6 Girls)
-
🥉 Freddie P (Year 1 Boys)
-
🥉 Tiggy M (Year 2 Girls)
-
🥉 Thomas P (Year 5 Boys)
-
🥉 Martha S (Year 6 Girls)
A special mention goes to our Year 6 girls, who secured all three podium positions in their race, a fantastic achievement.
Well done to all the Rupert House runners who took part. We look forward to an exciting cross-country season ahead.
