Fabulous, Baby!

Rupert House School was delighted to present this year's spectacular production of Sister Act Jr., a joyful and energetic musical that showcased the incredible talent of our pupils.

Based on the popular musical, Sister Act Jr. follows the story of Deloris Van Cartier, an aspiring singer who is placed in a convent for protection after witnessing a crime. Initially struggling to fit into convent life, Deloris soon transforms the choir and helps the nuns discover confidence, friendship and a renewed sense of purpose, while ultimately helping to bring the criminals to justice.

Our Year 6 pupils took on the lead roles with confidence and flair, delivering outstanding performances and demonstrating remarkable dedication throughout the rehearsal process. They were ably supported by Year 5, whose commitment to both acting and ensemble work helped bring the story vividly to life. Year 4 pupils also played an important part in the production, joining the cast for the musical numbers and adding greatly to the energy and spectacle of the show.

Packed with energetic choreography, enthusiastic singing, fabulous costumes and a memorable soundtrack, the production had audiences tapping their feet from beginning to end.

Sister Act Jr. was a tremendous success and a wonderful celebration of the Performing Arts at Rupert House School. Congratulations to all of the pupils and staff involved in creating such a memorable and uplifting production.
