Year 4 visit the Living Rainforest

On Monday 16th March, Year 4 went on a fantastic trip to the Living Rainforest. We enjoyed exploring the exciting environment we have been learning all about this term.
During our visit, we saw lots of incredible animals, including colourful poison dart frogs, the new Goeldi monkeys, tarantulas, and Cinnamon the sloth! It was even her birthday, which made our visit extra special. The children were fascinated by everything they saw and loved finding out more about the different creatures that live in the rainforest.
Throughout the day, we learned a great deal about rainforest habitats and how both plants and animals have adapted to survive there. We discovered how the hot, humid climate helps many plants to grow, and how animals use special features and behaviours to protect themselves, find food, and live in such a unique environment.
