In the Pre-Prep Happy Hub this week, Bob the Minion joined a small group of Year 1 and Year 2 children to share that he was finding Maths challenging and felt like giving up.
The children responded with kindness and encouragement, reminding him to keep trying, be brave, and learn from mistakes rather than give up.
They reflected on their own challenges and discussed things they sometimes find difficult. As part of the session, the children were encouraged to draw something they cannot do yet and think about the steps they could take to develop new skills.
