Learning about bravery in the Happy Hub

This week in the Pre-Prep Happy Hub, Bob the Minion shared with a small group of Year 1 and Year 2 children that he doesn’t always feel very brave.

To help him, Mme Sheriff read Logan’s Lantern, a lovely story about finding courage step by step, written by Phobe and Flossy’s mum.

The children talked about what bravery means to them and created posters to represent courage. They also shared some thoughtful advice with Bob, suggesting that he could ask for help, talk about his worries with a trusted adult, have a go, and keep trying even when things feel difficult.

Bob was very impressed by their wise ideas and left the Happy Hub feeling much more courageous!
