Year 5 visit to Maidenhead Mosque
On Monday 4th March, Year 5 went to visit Maidenhead Mosque to help further their understanding of the Muslim faith as Islam is our RE topic this term.
The guide, Zia, gave us a very informative and interesting talk, and the children showed just how much they had remembered. We talked about the importance of the 5 Pillars of Islam and the children enjoyed learning about the features of the Mosque, how Muslims pray and the importance of the Qu’ran.
The teachers were very proud of the children who were polite and respectful in this place of worship.
