Year 3 welcomed Dr Julie Paine
Year 3 were very lucky to welcome Dr Julie Paine, author of Joss and the Lucky Boots, for a special visit.
Dr Paine shared the heartwarming story of Joss and Django the Dachshund, a miniature dachshund who helps children talk through their worries and find confidence when facing challenges.
We loved listening to how Joss overcame her fears to attend an exciting football trial and how she was able to share her concerns with Django, who always encourages kindness, positivity and resilience. The story sparked some thoughtful discussions about worries, bravery and believing in ourselves.
A huge thank you to Dr Julie Paine for inspiring us with her wonderful story and reminding us that even the smallest friend can help us tackle our biggest worries.
