Year 2 step back in time
This week, Year 2 took a journey into the past with a full Victorian-themed school day.
Dressed the part, they wrote on chalkboards, played with Victorian toys and experienced the strict classroom rules of the time (including standing whenever an adult entered the room and wearing the dunce hat!).
This immersive experience brought their Victorians history topic to life and helped them understand just how different school life was over 100 years ago.
