Year 2 football festival

Approximately 180 children from 7 local schools, played several matches in a round-robin format, in a friendly but competitive spirit, with a final play-off match at the end. We were very fortunate to have a group of upper sixth boys from Shiplake College to oversee the refereeing, and a visit from the Mayor of Henley, who presented the medals.

Our Year 6 children also did a fantastic job of hosting the visiting schools, with a special mention to Fallon and Lucas for helping to run the afternoon so smoothly!

Our Year 2 children all had a great time and will remember this occasion for a long time.
