Year 1’s fantastic trip to Windsor Castle
Year 1 enjoyed an exciting and educational day out at the magnificent Windsor Castle this week.
After arriving and having a quick snack to refuel, the children set off on a short walk around the castle grounds, where they had the chance to explore Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House - a highlight for many!
One of the most memorable moments of the day was watching the Changing of the Guard. The children were captivated by the ceremony and the impressive display of pageantry.
The adventure continued with a fun, hands-on workshop that brought history to life, followed by a visit to the stunning St George’s Chapel, where the children admired its beautiful architecture and rich heritage.
