Rupert House Ski Trip 2026

On 28th March, the Year 5 and 6 ski trip to Sauze d’Oulx began with great excitement, as pupils eagerly set off for a memorable week in the Italian Alps.

Nestled in the heart of the Milky Way ski area, the resort provided the perfect setting.

Over the course of five days on the slopes, the children demonstrated fantastic enthusiasm, resilience, and determination. Whether they were complete beginners finding their balance for the first time or more experienced skiers refining their technique, everyone made clear and impressive progress. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow each day as they tackled new runs, supported one another, and celebrated their achievements.

The fun continued off the slopes with a range of après-ski activities that quickly became highlights of the trip. From a much-anticipated pizza night to movie night, the children thoroughly enjoyed spending time together. The quiz night sparked friendly competition and teamwork, and one of the standout moments was undoubtedly the karaoke evening, where pupils (and Ms Nicholson!) took to the stage with great enthusiasm.

Throughout the trip, the children represented the school brilliantly, showing excellent behaviour, teamwork, and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones. They formed new friendships, strengthened existing ones, and created lasting memories in a truly special setting. It was a week full of achievement, laughter, and shared experiences that will be remembered fondly by everyone involved.
