House Music: A Royal showdown

On Tuesday 17th March, Rupert House School held its much-anticipated House Music competition at the prestigious Henley Town Hall.

Following an impressive 131 auditions, talented soloists from across the school competed across three thrilling rounds in the final, showcasing the remarkable musical depth within the school community.

Alongside the solo performances, each House took to the stage for a group round and performed a House song linked to the exciting theme of royalty. Children threw themselves wholeheartedly into the spirit of the occasion, donning wonderful costumes and making brilliant use of fun props to bring their performances to life.

The three judges were truly amazed throughout the evening, marvelling at the exceptional standard of every performance, the extraordinary confidence displayed by each and every performer, and the impressive stage presence shown across all age groups.

After a fiercely competitive and thoroughly entertaining evening, Sahara House were crowned the winners. In a proud and memorable moment, House Captain Charlotte lifted the coveted House Music Cup to the delight of her teammates and our audience.
