Children in Need

Last Friday the school hall was a sea of spots, yellow and red as we enjoyed our Children in Need assembly, headed up by the School Council.

This included a top performance from the staff doing a dance routine to ‘Made You Look’ by Meghan Trainor.

It was a busy week with our Year 5 Kindness Ambassadors busily spotting good deeds and acts of kindness as well as being super role models to everyone. We filled a giant Pudsey image with wonderful notes of kindness spotted around the school which was a super reminder of our anti-bullying week.

Many children entered the School Council’s competition to make a mini Pudsey. The theme was 'eco-friendly' and the challenge was to have a toilet roll at the centre of the Pudsey and to use recycled materials where possible. The school council was very impressed and judging them was a real challenge.

Here are the winning mini Pudseys

Left: Artie, Pre-Prep

Right: Flossy, Prep

Runners-up were:

Pre-Prep: Marlon, Lucy V and George W

Prep: Alice V, Oliver and Millie J

Congratulations to all!

We are very proud to let you all know that, overall, the school, raised £666.60, which included proceeds from the cake sale kindly run by FoRH. Children also purchased £250 worth of Pudsey paraphernalia.

Thank you to everyone for your contributions to this wonderful charity!
