Celebrating International Women's Day
Mrs Fletcher held an assembly to mark International Women's Day 2022.
During the assembly she challenged boys and girls to do different tasks (for example hula hooping, throwing and catching a ball, threading a needle, and spelling some words) and we saw that boys and girls are equally capable of these tasks – and in fact all things.
The Year 1 children shared some of their female role-models and we watched a BBC video about International Women's Day, which is over 100 years old.
