Art and Food Technology workshops at Leighton Park
On Monday 19th May, the Year 5 children had the fantastic opportunity to visit Leighton Park School for a day of creativity and hands-on learning.
The children took part in two inspiring workshops led by specialist teachers from the school. In the Art room, they experimented with batik dyeing techniques, designing and printing their own fabric pieces.
Later in the day, they headed to the Food Technology suite, where they made delicious apple and berry crumbles from scratch. The workshop not only helped them develop their cooking skills but also encouraged teamwork and attention to detail in a practical setting.
We are incredibly grateful to Leighton Park School for hosting our pupils and providing such a warm welcome.
