Year 2 Explore Japan

Pupils in Year 2 have been learning all about Asia this week, especially Japan, the Japanese culture, and the artist Yashi Kashima, as part of their topic on 'Artists Around the World'. They made the connection between art and Japan by creating their own Zen gardens. The children loved making the gardens and there was a sense of calmness as they were creating them.
