Each week, Mrs Poulter selects one or two pupils whose artwork has particularly stood out - whether for creativity, effort, or achievement.
Their work is then showcased on the hallway screen the following week for everyone to enjoy.
Remember, in art there is no right or wrong. Everyone is an artist - it’s all about discovering what inspires you.
ARTIST OF THE WEEK
Lysander P, Year 4, has created a fantastic self portrait. He carefully mixed primary colours to create skin tones and hair colours that closely matched his own, showing a thoughtful understanding of colour mixing. He then added detail with colouring pencils, working carefully to capture facial features and expression. Well done!
