Year 4 PGL trip

Year 4 had a fantastic time at the PGL outdoors activity centre in Osmington Bay near Weymouth on the south coast.

We stayed for three days (and two nights), enjoying a busy roster of activities, hearty food offerings, and unexpectedly superb, sunny weather.

The stand-out activity for many children was paddleboarding on the open water in Weymouth Bay, using top-notch facilities managed by the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy. After donning wetsuits and buoyancy aids, the children took to the sea, first on paddle boards around the quay and then in a fun swimming and jumping-in session! Other activities included fencing, zip-lining, Aeroball, and learning backwoods survival skills. We finished the second day with campfire overlooking the bay.

The Year 4 teaching team were proud of every child in the year group for their resilience, maturity, and good sense of fun throughout the trip.
