Daisy raises money for Ukraine
Well done to Daisy in Year 5 who recently held a toy and bake sale with her brother and sister to raise money for Ukraine.
The siblings came up with the idea after discussing how they wanted to help those in need. Their stall, which they held outside their house on 19th and 20th March, sold toys, clothes and books to passers-by and friends. Daisy helped by sorting through their toys, setting up the stall, creating posters & banners and encouraging people in from the street.
Incredibly, they also baked and sold over 500 cakes!
Daisy and her family would like to thank everyone who generously donated to DEC Ukraine through their sale, whether in cash or online. The raised a fantastic total of £1760.46.
