Eggs and energy balls

The food council met again this week to discuss school meals and snack with the school caterers.

Pupils fed back what they liked and disliked on the current menus.

Head chef, Barry, presented a new snack menu to the council and all were in agreement of the changes he had made. He gave them taster bites to try, including old favourites - the energy balls, and ham & cheese turnovers.

He also presented items from our Brains & Grains concept which features frittata and scotch eggs, and handed out a fact sheet about eggs.

The snack and lunch menu will be updated for after the half-term break and will also introduce Meat Free Mondays.
