Introduction

Rupert House is non-selective on entry and provides its pupils with an excellent education in preparation for Common Entrance or Entrance Examinations to the senior school of their choice at age 11.

The curriculum is designed to give a broad education of the highest standard to children of differing talents and abilities. Throughout the school children are taught within a happy and secure environment. Endeavour and success are rewarded and every effort is made to nurture the individual with the aim of bringing out the best in each child.

Within a structured curriculum, a framework of established learning techniques is used to produce stimulating lessons where children are encouraged to think for themselves. In addition to more traditional teaching styles teachers frequently use games, role-play and project work to present new ideas. Guest speakers are welcomed into the school at all levels and outings and visits form an important part of the curriculum.
