The Music Curriculum is delivered to all year groups from Nursery to Year 6. Pupils receive their music lessons in a studio fully equipped with a wide range of musical instruments and resources. Many pupils study at least one musical instrument with a peripatetic teacher.
Pupils perform in the Harvest Festival, Christmas Carol Service, Christmas nativity, year 3 play and Summer production. They are also involved in the Henley Youth Festival. Upper school pupils follow programmes of study which are topic based. Each topic includes work on performance, composition, listening and appraising. Pupils study Musical Notation and Recorder skills are developed. Pupils also perform on tuned and unturned percussion, keyboards, electronic drumkit and various world music instruments.
The school has many extra-curricular music activities.
The Orchestra

The orchestra is for any pupils who has instrumental music lessons Most pupils are able to join the orchestra within their first year of learning their instrument. All instruments are welcome.
The Choir
The School have three choirs. Lower choir school is made up of all pupils in years 1 and 2. The Upper school choir is made up of all pupils in year 3 – 6 and Chamber Choir is a higher level choir and entry is by audition only. Year 5 and 6 pupils can audition once a year for Chamber Choir.

Music Makers
This is a club for year 2 pupils where they learn how to play a variety of musical instruments from all around the world.
Advanced Recorder Club
A fun club for pupils in years 4-6 who wish to develop their recorder skills further.
